Osstem Implant, South Korea’s first implant manufacturer, has become a household brand in the field of dental implant, to the extent that more than 80 % of Korean people recognize our brand name.

In terms of sales volumes, Osstem is ranked as the number one implant-specialized company in Asia and the Pacific, and ranked as the fifth largest in the world. Our products are used in more than 70 countries and we have overseas subsidiaries in 25 countries.

The growth of Osstem Implant has brought a positive influence on the development of the Korean dental industry. Since Osstem has played a pivotal role in the implant industry, South Korea has been able to change its status from implant-importing country to implant-exporting country, and has become globally recognized in implant clinical practice.

At the heart of Osstem Implant’s remarkable growth lies its passion for R&D. Osstem invests more than 30 billion KRW a year in R&D, and has more than 300 researchers at its eight research institutes, including the Implant Research Center, which are dedicated to R&D activities day and night, in order to develop advanced technology and products of top quality. Such efforts of Osstem are well recognized in the domestic and foreign dental industry. Osstem Implant has acquired strict quality certifications in major countries, including those of the FDA and CE. Our products have been selected as world-class by Korean government, and also has been designated as an Advanced Technology Center by Korean government. Osstem is expanding our territory beyond the implant business into the other fields necessary for dental treatment, such as dental equipment, dental material, and dental IT solutions, and is also striving to lead the development of the dental industry.

Osstem is paying a great deal of attention to ensure that the company’s growth contributes to the advancement of the dental industry, and also to the improvement of people’s health. To this end, we donate scholarships to 16 dental universities and clinical dentistry graduate schools around the country. We also actively support the activities for academic development of the dental industry, as well as dentists’ voluntary services. In the future, we will further expand our efforts and actively implement activities that can help develop the dental industry and promote public healthcare.
